Roberto is a young resident in one of the poorest areas of Rockaway. He has been helping at a local food & clothing distribution station daily. In the chaos of other residents trying to push their way in line to get food and supplies, he asked a man and his girlfriend to wait their turn. After a heated exchange, the man hit Roberto in the face with his flashlight. Looting, violence and greed are serious problems that have arisen post disaster. Roberto now has hospital bills that he cannot pay for.
