We went by the beachfront today. It is depressing.
The cleanup is well under way; the beach and Pier Village are still there. However, as you will see from the pictures, all of the wooden boardwalk has been removed and is piled up in the parking lot. A chain link is up instead. The stone walkway north of Pier Village faired better though lots of railing will need to be replaced. Most of the businesses there haven't reopened.
Flooding affected everything on the oceanfront.
